For the Stomping Tantrum moment with lairon I think it's just you can't get it boosted tantrum 2 turns in a row. It missed Iron Tail on the togedemaru switch so it got the boost there. Got fake out and flinch but since it was boosted the last turn it probably didn't counted to not let tantrum keeping the boost until it works.

​@@waldo109 it's not really specified on bulbapedia and as a VGC player I think I would know that interaction since both stomping tantrum and flinch are very common but it doesn't really come into play. (Also I'm not trying to defend chat, I'm just saying looking it up doesn't help much)

The part that got me was when someone said thats why ting-lu was so good in VGC. He was only good because of the mixture of fissure getting a 1HKO or having to take a 150 BP non-spread move thats STAB

PSA: your chat is trolling you. Stomping tantrum is only boosted if a move misses DUE TO ACCURACY. Flinches, para, sleep or anything else that causes the opponent to miss their turn WILL NOT boost stomping tantrum. Only if the move before it missed because of its ACCURACY.
