Thanks! Did my hair yesterday and need to finish it. I am going to wrap the string around the pieces of hair sticking out of the braids. This will create bands of color and prevent cutting.

It looks like a drink pitcher; you can get it at any dollar store or Walmart/Target.

Yep that’s an electric kettle, they sell it at Walmart for $14.99. I use it for my braids too. You don’t have to fool around with a pot of hot water on the stove. It plugs into this little base that plugs into the wall, and within seconds the water is boiling. Then you can remove the pitcher from the base and dip the hair in it.

I love your humbleness and your work. It is beautiful. I have a question and a request. I looked through your archive to see your braid work on 4c or coarser type hair. If you have one, can you point to it and if not---can you pretty please do one? Yoooooou said you love us (well not love us...lol) but that if we 'request it'---you will grant our wisssshhhh. Um...hm...you sure did. And this 'older' lady would love to see or hear your suggestions. Besides, think of it as a belated birthday day gift for this 'older lady' and I wouldn't be lying since...you did upload this video on my birthday. That's my wish. I promise...it was my birthday. 1965. December. 18th. Don't count the years please. Just take me word for it. But----I would be grateful if you did. I have a few clients that has coarse hair and are wanting braids. I guess my question is can a person get smooth, sleek and shiny braids like the one's you do...IF---they have that hair type. There are videos on YT for 'Cornrows' on 4c but they still look...'rough'...I guess that's what I'm saying. Neat...but...you know...not shiny and pretty and stuff.
