Fe2rr I agree, been on a quest to find another band to get into that comes close and have yet to find it. Dillinger Escape Plan has very talented musicians but nowhere near the diversity esp with vocals. Let me know if you have any recommendations!

As a guitarist Die and Kaoru are my favorite members 'cause I like to pay attention to them. I've gone to 3 concerts by them, one in Japan and I can tell those dudes (the 5 of them) are monsters. Even though I was there expecting to see a hell out of Kaoru and Die... when Kyo came out an started his show it was like outter space. You CAN'T take your eyes off him. He is simply more than amazing he is phenomenal.

Best part of this live performance is how the bass and the drums are so locked in with each other, even during the bass solo. Keeps it sounding tough over the layered guitar parts.

Out of all the bands I've seen live, this one will always bring at tear to my eye. I Don't know why but I every time I hear Dir En Grey, it wakes up some deep emotion.

I loved seeing your reaction to this band and this song. It really reminded me of the first time I really got exposed to the right Dir en grey song and it clicked with me and reminded me of why I love this band so much. They have developed so much over the years, so many of their previous albums really kill in different ways spanning different genres. This is the song every person giving Dir en grey a shot should listen to. I think even those who wrote them off because of Obscure or Different Sense should at least give them a second chance with this track, as it might change their minds. Been listening to them for almost 13 years now and have seen them live twice. They are totally worth it

@@dgottardo21 Thanks for noticing! Dir en grey are my favorite band now. But did you already check out this other Japanese band: Maximum the hormone. They have a collision of different styles (metal & punk), but very interesting. Songs like Yoshu fukushu or What's up people are awesome. Also excellent musicians (that bassist!)

Awesome. Please listen to vocalist (Kyo) side project "sukekiyo". The song "sukekiyo - elizabeth addict" is phenomenal. His voice there is just from another world. There were a live version on youtube (PERSUASIO live), but too bad it was deleted. I will not recommend another live video, since quality there is bad. But there is a studio version on youtube too. Give it a shot!
