Many many groups back in the day were like that. They didn’t need a bunch of effects or gimmicks. Just stand there and jam. One reason , I wasn’t a big fan of Kiss. It was mainly come here and watch our lights, makeup, fire techno and gimmicks.

One of the lesser known but imho one of the best Straits songs. The raw positive energy and upliftment this songs gives u, especially on this Alchemy version is incredible. Top class musicianship all around, love that distortion rhythm guitar driving the song with Alan Clark on keys and the usual MK virtuoso playing.
