Thanks for the great review. Very useful information to help me narrow down my choice of an EDC bag. Would you say the quality is better than the Wisport Sparrow 20? and worth the extra money.

So... I'm looking for a new backpack as well... I have a Kanken 20 Liter 17" laptop version which weight 500 grams... I made a lightweight trip to Israel with only that bag and did fine hiking with it. I Bought a sleeping pad and sleeping bag in israel and had a small fanny pack in my bag which I ended up using for the shoulder strab thing and hanging the sleeping back on it, having the fanny in the front on my chest, like a chestbag. The sleeping pad I put on top of the bag. But... by my experience I'm looking for something which can replace it. Like having 2 water bottles at each side and having the possibility to fix a solar pad on the bag of it and sleeping pad at the buttom. So much Sun in Israel and iv gotten a Solar panel and made some modifications to it. Should be more then enough to keep one going in regards of Power. I'm looking into some small water filter as well, so one could just pig up some water on the go and filter it for drinking "Sounds like the Mini Sawyer will do the Job". Water is very very important when its hot all the time - and its not always easy access for it - you may be hiking a long time before finding a place with drinkable water like on Jewish Graveyard. It was all good hiking and no worries beside some cold times at the end of night - but it's always nice to get things ready for one more trip from the experience from the last. So, that's what I'm doing. But I think I need a new bag for more comfort, Like Water and Solar Panel - the Kanken was not bad at all but I hate how there is really no room for water at its sides. I could by a little force fix a 0,75 liter vapur blatter bottle in one side pocket, and no side pocket on the other side. But when wanting to carry around 3-4 liters.... Well.... It was possible but with the Vapur blatter bottles I had with me hanging them on my belt straps, the best place hanging it was at the back slinging around on your ass one just had to remember it before sitting... but things could have been better. Like having 1,5 litters bottles on each side or something like that... So, I'm looking into these kinds of bags - I like Squareness on a Bag. I would not mind having some more room then the Kanken - but I think I can actually skip taking my Titanium Cup and the Titanium stove with me so I would have more room... Not really necessary in a warm environment to have a cup of warm tea... Getting up in the cold at morning freezing, well, before getting the water boil the sun was visible and already made you hot. so... really, it was pointless in that regard... I had some warmers for the night which could be activated again by cocking them - but I may have anther way, electrical warmers and better clothing and sleeping equipment might make the day in replacement. I had some very minimum Petzl light with me last time - it worked, but iv been looking for a better option to give more light. And one have to wear a Cap in Israel or Sunglasses, and I'm not a Sun glas kind of guy - so Cap it was... So I found this mini light from Olight S1R neutral to replace it to put on a Cap that I'm going to order... I was close on getting the headlamp they had, but if I can get satisfied by just putting one on a cap, well, that would be less things to carry. They are coming with with a rechargeable version of the headlamp, I actually think they released it yesterday the H1R Nova and yup, looking up the name, you can buy it now... But... Il go for the version i can just put on a baseball cap and see how it works which is in itself rechargeable. So at the moment I'm looking at these: DRAGON EGG MK II Backpack 25L, Assault Systems Predator bag 42L? and Mil-Tec Military Army Patrol Bag 36L.... Hard to choose when you don't have them in your hands.

The System Predator looks to big for me I found some pictures here: www.milspecmonkey.com/index.php/weargear/packsbags/405-warrior-assault-systems-predator-pack Did not seem that big on the video.... Out of the box it may seem the Dragon Egg MKII may be the best choice for me. It has bottles pockets by default... But one could of course just buy for the others and fix them on by the system. 25 Liters would be around 5 more then I had last time according to the stats... So I may be looking in that direction.

I don't know about the spam - but I'm getting real tired of KZbin and Google. I'm not sure who deletes things - but they sure is tricker friendly. I had a spicy conversation with many - and the one I was writing for who wrote to me was made into a spam post so had I not checked what had been made spam I would never have seen it. The other issue is that what is pointed out as spam - it looks to me you can only see the beginning of what has been written. Then of cause is the deletion of profiles which they can do to anyone.

And.... I just lost all that I wrote to you... *Sigh* because the page flipped. No warning, no nothing. Anyway - I got the Dragon 2 the other just seemed huge and I if I remember correctly would have a hard time getting it with in the plane being to big.

Can anyone help? Please tell me your opinion.I am between this and 5.11 Tactical Rush 24.The reason is that this seems small and on the other hand,5.11 may get too heavy and uncomfortable.Any opinion would be appreciated,thanks in advance!
