Whole crop cereal silage is very popular down here.(New Zealand} as a carbohydrate feed. Cheaper than maize in areas that are too cool in summer. Triticale, wheat or barley varieties without awns. Great vlog as always! Hope your heifer that slipped comes into milk.

You're sure a believer in poor feed is better than no feed. If you're going to buy good seed and have good planting equipment and do all the work and then let that be lost by not getting it harvested on time is sad.
