Beautiful. A short wrought iron railing would look beautiful along that edge where your hydrangeas are. Safe as well. Really lovely property and thank you for your tutorial.

You are right! We put in some posts to put up a net so the basketball doesn't go down the creek. We just haven't had a chance to put one up yet.

Oh, and a warning. Hollyhocks have small glass like fibres on the leaves that can cause irritation. I have an itchy burning rash under my chin and over 1/2 my face. Dr says either I touched my gloved hands to my face (entirely possible since it was sweltering and I was sweating) or it transferred to me from my outdoor cat who was near it and who rubbed up under my chin that same day. Not fun.
