Oh sweet girl, I love you. I have a cicada pinned to a board, we have them here in Wisconsin too. I read the book u referred to. "Don't make assumptions." THis was a great reading. I especially connected w the owls on the back of cards. Owls r one of my spirit animals. Strongest one. Any who....loved it when u were silly. I bet your a great comedian. Cheers

Pile 3 makes total sense to me. I took it that the skunk was dark and light and good and "evil" and acceptance of the shadow side with the enchanted forest first card having his arm round what you described as a skunk but it's actually a badger from the UK. Quite large animal that looks gentle but has large claws and can be quite ferocious sometimes. They can even climb up trees. Beautiful animals. I used this deck for the first time last night my end x

This is amazing.. because in the last couple of days I was writing a friend of mine about the Cicadas, their unique sounds and how it used to comfort me when I was living next to the forest.
