Director Damien Chazelle talks 'La La Land' with WTOP

Really good interview. Kept a good pace to fit in questions, obviously very knowledgeable about cinema, and had a good understanding of the movie at a level where he can talk with the creator at an almost eye-to-eye level. Damien Chazelle seems like a great person to interview as well. Has fleshed-out answers and isn't afraid to talk about intentions behind specific elements in his movie.

3:37-3:40 "Why can't more traffic jams be like this?" - Now ppl. : print out huge signs with song titles on them & hit the traffic. Whenever a jam happens, step out of the car, wave the sign high and wide and start singing. - I think it may realistically work only if a radio would cooperate in this .. and it was somehow more notified beforehand, maybe even require cooperation with TV and radio both +. :D Inspiration from another crazy idea: James Gorden Crosswalk Musicals
