Was born in Sweden, and his parents are from Turkey, ethnicaly Georgians. So he kinda identifies himself as Swedish with Georgian heritage.

Also I read his father had to flee and leave Turkey during 70s, when Turkey was implementing nationalistic policies, precisely assimilation and Turkification policies. As his father used to run a newspaper in Georgian language to ensure Georgians living in Turkey could save native language, he was under danger to be killed. His Co worker was killed by Turkish nationalistic groups so he was smart to flee and move to Sweden. During that years actually until even 80s people were jailed for not speaking Turkish and speaking any second language was reason of various types of violence towards population. This way they ended up in Sweden and saved their ethnic identity memory.
