Sam Reid is the perfect Lestat! I read that Anne Rice had Rutger Hauer in mind when she wrote Lestat but he was too old for the role by the time they made the movie. I never thought Tom Cruise was right for the role, nor Brad Pitt for the role of Louis. Sam and Jacob are perfect for these roles! I love this show!

The appreciation and respect between them is so nice and heartwarming to see. You see how clear Sam adores the books. The way Jacob looks and smiles at him makes me so happy. Oh my heavens!! I have waited for the adaptation of this book to be done PROPERLY!!! Thank you Rollin Jones, Jacob and Sam. Anne Rice and her books have meant so much to me in my life. The complexities of Annie Rices' Novels speak about life in so many ways, and relate to so many groups, she was a literary genius and will be profoundly missed. They are both brilliant. I've heard some negative comments but I fight to defend them. Louis is conflicted and lonely, Lestat is so much more than the movie. He just loves "life" and he obviously is in love with Louis. The way he stares at him is just so romantic...yes, romantic. He just loves him so much, then Louis gets caught up in his love. This is not clear in the books. We know they love each other but not like this. This is the way it should be Can't wait to see Claudia tonight.
