Green (the color, not the entity) is typically used by Mr. Insanity, and purple is generally used by Mito. Like someone in the stream chat said, there's a theory that the dog is representing Ian, caught in the middle of Insanity and Mito's fighting. In the scene where the dog was left at the bank (10:38), you can see the eyes flicker between green and purple; flicking back and forth between who was winning during Insanity and Mito's fight.

No, Ian said that green, yellow and violet(pink)is different level of Mr. Insanity. Most crazy is violet. And one of the song on album is violet crazy.

@@superpuper9800 I wonder if there is some overlap, because in this video ('So I Danced') Mito's eye flashes purple and all of the people in the Emerald City (including those protecting the Bank of the Other Side) are pink, and in 'Don't go Insane' the people that capture/tie up Mr. Insanity are pink as well.

I absolutely love your reactions on Ian's work but I'd love it if you watched more of DPR LIVE's MVs too not only because we can see Ian's editing evolving with time but especially because Live's songs are fire and it makes me kinda sad to see him always put behind Ian by a lot of people when he's also someone very inspiring with veeeery good songs and MVs

Ok ok ok, lets clear things out, MITO, by Ian's words represent his maniac persona when he is really down low... Mr Insanity is the opposite, the high high moments, and it is a side story (102.7KIISFM interview ~around 10min mark). Now, the main story is about MITO, a rebel being created by a God-Clown, which created different characters to represent himself. But MITO, the first creation, gets jealous and corrupt. The darkness turns him into a demon king conflicted by the emotions and the "betrayal", and he is willing to infect the all other creations (Zach Sang interview ~around 32min mak). I really hope it helps you comprehend the backstory. Plus: idk much about Mr Insanity and his plot/sidestory yet, but love the character

Heyyy, Roscoe did a full deep dive of all characters, this is just a replay of what's been streamed. Mito's DPR Ian's protector (Dissociative Identity Disorder). He used to refer to him as his manic low before because he didn't want to open up about his DID yet During Say What Reacts interview he confirmed he was okay with people associating his alters to bipolar Disorder (manic highs and lows) but in reality everything was more about DID. So yeah Mito is Ian's protector and guardian. Mr insanity is still his manic high though apparently.

Idk about the green per se, he might be some other persona, someone that only wants to be loved, maybe Miss Insanity? we'll have to wait longer... But Green, as in the color and light, as the visual symbology is Mito. As said recently by Christian. You see in Peanuts MV how the Green light in 5he sky tries to destroy Insanity. And yiu see Green in here too going after them in the van etc
