One thing to add "No Blueberries" isn't about blueberries at all. They are metaphors for people he doesn't want to associate with or things he can't connect to. He talks about it in the MITO documentary film. It's like you're looking at something good like ice cream cake and then something undesirable is added to it. I think of it as life is the good thing and then blueberries are the undesirable things in life you want to get rid of.

Omg sorry for the ramble but something important! Ian said Mr. Insanity created Mito. In the Miito movie the person at the beginning isn't Ian, it's insanity! (as well as the very last scene) He is talking about creating Mito and then we see the song seraph explaining how Mito was an angel that fell from heaven. Mr. Insanity is the clown god that created the seraph, Mito, that became a fallen angel. (Fun fact, Lucifer was also a seraphim before he fell from heaven)

I honestly love DPR IAN so much. Found about him like a month ago? A short period of time but I have watched everything I could find about him, lives, mvs, interviews, etc. I connected with his art inmediatly but what made me really love it is when i found about his D.I.D. I'm diagnosed with it too, around 2021, a hard journey to get used to it, to accept it and to "meet" all of us, so seeing an artist showing everything so perfectly, artistically and without demonizing or glorifying the whole thing is... Wow. Having good representation is such an important thing for us.

i dont know if he reads comments on his youtube. But Ian has said before that Mito is a protector that tends to jump in when he's going through something too difficult for Ian to take by himself. So in the scenes where the blueberry monster grabs his face the screen goes black and white, and the eye on his finger goes moves alot, i think that scene represents mito stepping in to protect Ian. But that's just my interpretation.

I have liked IAN a lot for a while now and I'm grateful to him that I didn't give up on a hobby/project of mine. Apart from his artistry and the fact that he is a very attractive and adorable fluff ball, I admire the fact that he is so open about himself, about things that are very hard to deal with and even more, very hard to feel confident on sharing. I'm very interested in psychology and psychiatry. I like to read and learn about how fascinating our brain is, being capable of doing so much just to try and protect us of things we are not strong enough to deal with easily. I also like to write, a few years ago I started writing a story that revolved around a person with DID and have been investigating a lot, I still can't find enough information that make me feel I'm writing them very accurately, and I do understand it works differently for everyone, but I'm stuck because of this. I actually planned to stop writing it, but who would have thought that this man I've been following for a while would give me a deeper and more personal passage into DID. I was grateful because having previous knowledge of this disorder made it a bit easier to understand him when he shared it with us and at the same time, cause I learned a lot more thanks to him.

i missed it :( but have watched it all now. In the MITO Documentaty, Ian said that he associated blueberries with people he finds it hard to connect with. He basically uses the blueberries as a metaphor. The anxiety and stress he feels trying to form relationships that just don't work builds up to the point that anything, even something as insignificant as a blueberry, can remind him and i guess like you talked about, become a trigger. But the main idea was from finding it anxiety inducing to connect with some people.

Also, I believe that the 'Scaredy cat' is actually Mito. In the Scaredy cat mv I think we are seeing Mito almost the whole time, and the following song/mv is 'Welcome to the show', where someone on stream i believe also stated that song symbolises Ian accepting Mito as part of him.

In my interpretation. Mr. Insanity picks up the gun. In the dinner, we feel Mito pop-up after Insanity points the gun and he takes the pills (medication). Mr. Insanity then tries to hide, hence, the cap but then sees the blueberries on the cake. The blueberries are the pills to regulate his moods. The dinner turns blue and Insanity realized the pills are kicking in and the dinner is empty, Insanity points the gun everywhere but HE is the ONLY ONE THERE because he's inside his own head. The blueberry monster attacks, there's a struggle for control but Insanity is pulled back to the other side, we hear "Welcome to the other side." Then Live picks Insanity up and ends up driving him straight back to the blueberry monster, knowing Ian was in a spiral. The scene changes and Ian is back in the dinner and the blueberries are on the cake. Note that at this point the song says "I got this blue to make you come up" and there is no cap. 😊

Hi Roscoe... THANK YOU SO MUCH for making me feel not alone. I was just as excited as you when I first found out about DPR ian... It took me all week to really get to know this genius artist from his early involvement as kpop idol C-Clowns to DPR Ian and yes shout out to CL 2ne1 who is responsible for bringing DPR Ian back on stage with the universal music of everything... I also just got to know Ian's DPR in a unique way... I heard NTX's YunHyeok singing "No blueberries" in his Ig live recently and then I found his playlist and it's amazing I heard all 27 songs without skipping...I really like all his songs... But in his mv it's a different story which is disturbing to watch but DPR Ian managed to show all the delirium in the minds of people with mental disorders, especially those with Bipolar and DID... I have MDD, Anxiety n bipolar type 2.. Honestly, I'm proud of DPR Ian because through his artwork it's a good thing that somehow many people can stop the stigma and understand what's in our mind when we're in a high mood (Mr Insanity) or a low mood (Mito)... It is not easy to reconcile two chaotic and different worlds and try to face life calmly and normally... But what choice do we have? It is not something we choose ourselves...Just like the lyrics of Skins I never Ask to be like this.... When Ian is himself, he is a person with an interesting character, approachable, beautiful soul and many of us are also like him... Just become a monster in our own close closet... 💜

I love the deep dive series. I think you've inspired me to do one too. I've been watching all his lives and interviews and rewatching the videos work his latest reveals (especially with the DID) adds even more dimensions to the already existing complexity. Also, it made me wonder if you ever do reacts with other people. I noticed I always wanted to add stuff while watching cause my ADHD decided to hyperfixate on the lore and remember so many details. Might be interesting to do a reaction with someone relatively new to the mitoverse and someone who's been a tad obsessed with it for the past 3 years lol I'd volunteer as tribute 😊

There is something important about this mv that no one said yet : in a recent Instagram live, Ian said that No Blueberries is set in the future. He also said that as the time goes, the appearance of Mr.Insanity change and that Mr.Insanity would be fully blind. The monster in No Blueberries could be Mr.Insanity, but we are not sure yet. (English isn't my first language sorry if it's not clear). The timeline : Dear Insanity -> Mito -> Miito Movie part 1 -> No Blueberries (If someone have to add something about this or correct me I'll be very thankfull)
