Roscoe, I'm crazy with you. I'm a woman of a certain age that grew up with MJ. JK embodies the era as he pays homage to the artist and his music. It was like he was there at the inception of pop, rock and funk.

Jungkook (Jimin and Hobi especially) have been embodying and emulating MJ since they were very young trainees. Remember Jungkook and Jimin doing the Coming of Age and Black and White dances (MJ personified). Brings back memories for me certainly of MJ (I am of that certain age) I love the grandeur of the stage in this song. Kookie is definitely hitting on all cylinders! 💜🐰💜

Subtle? Pertaining specifically to the fit in this choreo version ... NOBODY and I mean NOBODY (seriously as part of their wardrobe) wore black trousers with a substantially short hem, black loafers, and brighter than sunlight on a white sand beach white socks except Michael Jackson. I think I would have less respect for it if he replicated the full wardrobe of MJ, but to do bits and pieces feels more like homage and channeling; like it's close enough that you get it but not complete imitation to be fake.

I love how you call him Kookie. :) Michael has been my love for many years and I know his every move, breath, smile, smirk, everything so well. BTS has brought me so much joy! I am so grateful I could have witnessed this twice in my life!!! I will throw here also Dimash cause he was the first one after Michael´s passing that has brought me back that excitement. Then BTS came and I coudn´t believe my luck. :)
