As an old fart (75) with Aspergers, I have never been able to comprehend people talking and singing. I am one of those that say "Huh" "What did you say" over and over. I gave up on singers as a preteen. Hearing aides never helped. But a few weeks ago I discovered Woosung and now ONE OK ROCK. I comfortably understand every word and syllable he says.. Must be their diction. They are something special. Production Team.. Maybe 900 cameras and probably 100 mikes on the drums themselves. Their spacial presentation on headphones is something.

The song "Renegades" was in the final scene and end credits of a movie called Rurouni Kenshin: The Final. It was the last film in the Rurouni Kenshin movie series, based on the manga. Taka / OOR wrote the song in collaboration with Ed Sheeran.

He goes to turn on subtitles and Taka is singing in English.😂 One Ok Rock has pure talent and the energy is insane! They don’t stand there trying to look cute - every member is involved in the music and movements. Taka is a spectacular vocalist and really knows how to control the crowds. I love them SO much! They have over 10 billion streams on Spotify. They’re amazing. BTW, when you talk crowds, a few summers ago they did an outdoor concert in Nagisen Japan and it drew over 110,000 people! The show was amazing, too! Taka’s voice is unmatched with his range.

Fun Fact: This show was at the Tokyo Dome, the same venue as the "We Are" and "Take What You Want" videos. Also, the entire Luxury Disease Japan Tour was held in domed stadiums. The number of people at those shows is insane.

I had the privilege of seeing them live last year in a small club (house of blues) it was nothing short of spiritual. I have never cried at a rock concert before, but I was so overcome with emotion that I balled. It’s something I will NEVER forget!!!

I had the same chance, invited my little sister to come too, after listening to them for 10 years being a meter away from them was such a joyous moment, be it for the music, the shared moment between the group and the crowd, and the shared moment with my sister. So much emotion. So much intensity. So much skill. This is most probably the best concert I will ever experience in my life. I mean it !

I went to 4 shows on this tour, including the performance in this particular video. You really look forward when they get to the call and response parts of all the songs. Their concerts are so much fun. Appreciate all the commentary on the cinematography.

I have been listening to One Ok Rock for years and it's amazing to see how far they have come. I finally got see them in a small venue in pontiac michigan in 2019 and can't wait for them to come back. Keep up the love! Your reactions bring much needed joy in these crazy times. ❤

I looked at the credits for the work. I counted 38 camera operators 30 assistant camera operators There are many other jobs related to it and there are a lot of people working together to create great works! In a past live, Toru was filmed by 50 cameras today! I remembered him saying that.

@roscoe one thing you should know, many fans are dedicated, I mean dedicated. When you apply for a concert, you have to pick 4 locations in case your area isn’t available. I’ve traveled 6 hours on a Shinkansen (bullet train) just to attend. They have so much meaning for many young Japanese from a young age. If you want example watch “one ok rock 18 fes.” It’s a documentary that they do in Japan to put on a concert just for kids coming of age (turning 18) to signify being an adult. Compared to other bands that participated, one ok rock made them part of the group essentially when they did we are.

For me Japanese people are very respectful when someone is speaking, singing without phones in hand during the performance by far! Idk if it’s part of the rules before the show starts but man the hospitality from the people in Japan.. culture and beauty is something else that I want to live for♥️

What's the best way to request a video to react to? There are several OOR songs Roscoe has to see that will blow him out of the water from a director viewpoint but not enough people know about. "Let's Take it Someday" live at Yokohama stadium is one of them, it still leaves me speechless. The most incredible thing they pulled off was during the pandemic they did a Livestream show in an empty stadium. I'd love to get his thoughts on something like that. They had lights on every seat, 2 different stages, and used pretty much the entire stadium. They did behind the scenes in they documentary. Taka broke down crying at the end of the show because of how much it meant to him.
