What's amazing is that Solar wrote and composed this song entirely on her own. She came up with the concept for this on her own too and she did it to promote inclusion and diveristy. 'Even though 'COLOURS' has the meaning of showing different colors of mine, I also hope that we can all enjoy the diversity around the world. Foreign countries are really open minded but I think Korea is still quite conservative. I wish that things can be a little bit more open in this area.' You definitely should check out But I. This song is more about a message of inclusion in Korea. Usually the dancers aren’t given their own spotlights in mv. She gave them time to shine instead of it just being all about her.

Please watch "BUT I" from her, that's her title track that's more vocal heavy song. It's a rock song btw. Her new album is a masterpiece. 6 songs, 6 different genres. Out of 6 she wrote 5 and composed 3. This song is for representation, she made history in Kpop, basically. She's the first Kpop artist who performed with Queer dancers (not only using them as backup dancers) on a national TV, live. PS: She wrote and composed this song alone!
