Chan knows what he's doing. Truly a genius producer. He gave LiSa that powerhouse chorus to belt out, and then knew to put Felix right after for that contrast. Seriously, he's just so good. This song is so good! They really have forged their own path and do things their own way. Out of all of the k-pop groups, they have their own look, their own sound, they produce all of their own songs. I love the stories behind their songs. Like, they were told they were "too noisy" with their music, so they wrote and produced Thunderous in response. I think Chan has always had a solid idea of where they (Stray Kids) are going, how they want to do it, and what they want to be. This song is about the struggles of getting there, but this year has been really an example of them finally getting the recognition they deserve. It's only going to keep getting more and more, IMO.

I love how every time I watch Roscoe react to Stray Kids, I know at some point he's going to point at Han and say "He likes his butt warm". My bias is now always associated with that video. Thanks Roscoe

Written by Chan mostly about his struggle coming up. Leaving his country and home at 13 and for years watching others go on to debut. He was in a VERY dark place, he's talked about it several times and it was heartbreaking. Like scary dark it what I've taken from it. I love this and at the same time, I feel for what he went thru. Oh and putting Felix after LiSA's voice was so smart. This aesthetic set and rock tone is very Japanese.

"Gave up my youth for my future" - Chan leaving home @ 13 to become a trainee for 7years.... "Feeling the crowd, alien of the town, they want me to give up right now"- the antis & haters always coming for them. “They're making me laugh, it's so loud. Waking the demon that's hiding inside” - laughing in the face of the haters / water off a ducks back. "Never knew I'd see so many people come and go I see the mirror, it's only me " - Through Chan's 7years trainee seeing people debut/get cut and he was still there. "I know its gonna be lonely cos everyone keeps turning me down" Chan's journey of being told he isn't ready (rejection) but keeping him on The lyrics they cut deep as it is autobiographical.. I love how you noticed the tearing of the wall part. Right after that the Lisa part has the red behind her which is how the come together at the end. I used to watch Felix ASMR vids and oh it was amazing. Him narrating is really good on the ears, too.

OMG! I've gotten through quite a few of his reactions and I love his growth from knowing NOTHING to learning a few, to his little nicknames ("That's keeping my butt warm Han... That's Hairjin"), and then his little obsessions (Felix's face/voice/freckles, Bang Chan's back). I feel like watching him is what a lot of Stays go through... Also - really loving how he has no fear in showing appreciation towards the guys: vocals, dance moves, but also visuals... "BINNIE" (0:34ish) like he's greeting a buddy. "THAT'S PUPPY!" (2:24ish) his voice and face is so adorable!!

It's not how Flex speaks he can manipulate his voice very well, If you listen to Deep end which is all him and all in english you'll see what i mean :) Bang Chan wrote this song about his trainee days

Felix voice is naturally deep. If you check out a yt video called the duality of lee Felix. Felix has said in the past that he tends to pitch his speaking voice higher. Though I think he’s been doing less of that.

About Felix: You should hear him reading from Alice in Wonderland ... kzbin.infoD2y9HVHiriw This song hit me harder after reading the lyrics - that first line 'Gave up my youth for my future' hit so hard And then 'I know it's going to be lonely, 'cause everyone keeps turning me down.' Knowing about how long it took Chan to train and how close he came to giving up his future just makes it hit harder. They certainly did rise up stronger.

I reckon Felix talks in a bit of a higher range than what he uses in songs. If he talks in his lower ranges, it's usually for asmr or when he's speaking very sincerely or seriously. Han is also one of the members who has a naturally low speaking register which is kind of surprising considering the range he usually sings in. I can't tell you about where everybody else's voice sits without a piano but yeah 👍 You should totally check out the Rock-Star album prologue video though (if you haven't already)!! Felix and Chan are narrating and it sounds super dope.
