Is a shame you didnt searched for the lyrics. TOP started out in the underground clubs . He was a rapper before becoming an idol . He come from a family educated in art . He is an art expert and recognised colector . This song and MV may look haotic but it has meaning and lyrics would have helped a lot . Dadaism was an art movement rejecting reason started by artists dealing with the trauma of war in Europe . There are many references in the MV like the 2001 A space odyseey. That mustache is to make him look like Salvador Dali . He is here to wash your ears with quality music and open your mind to culture .

Exactly, and also Surrealism, early and pre-cinema (esp the Zoetrope). Really odd that Roscoe doesn't seem to have noticed even though he's a director. I don't watch reactions just to gush over artists or agree with me about my musical taste, I hope for some insight beyond my own knowledge. Sadly the best of Kpop actually seems to be over most people's heads, even though it is commonly looked down upon for being superficial and commercial, and that's partly because it's the least interesting stuff that is often the most successful (which is the case in any genre).

@@mariar3767 That's harsh, but yeah, I didn't either. Although I must say that most industry professionals nowadays don't seem to have much historical knowledge anymore nor knowledge beyond their own culture. Nonetheless, they steal from whatever they do happen to find, but without any interest in the meaning behind it. The wild mix of stuff in Kpop sometimes provides a fresh, original perspective, but it's not always clear how far the connotations of the original sources are understood and intentionally imported.

Am I the only person who understood this video? He was a un-evolved monkey until he discovered the mic aka rap. Then he was thrown into this strange world and developed a level of sophistication with his rap that he was standing alone so he decided to take other rappers which he sees as giant babies because he's so sophisticated at this point kicking and screaming to another place using the mic as a weapon.
