Regardless the form, if its unexpected and also not with in the rules of competition, it can never be considered good. The fight ends in the UFC the second a ref deems a fighter defenseless and steps in. In this sport and boxing you can be fully concussed and knocked out and beat the count just to experience that one or two more times. Not saying either I'd barbaric , it's just a perspective lacking nuance imo from a perspective of fighter health.

riggs tried being the aggressor, but there were a lot of obstacles. he did knock tierney down in the second after that happening to himself in the first, but tierney stayed calm and fired back or fired away.

good job for riggs not to get discouraged pressing the fight as he did early on despite the reprecussions he was running into... such persistance eventually paid off when he landed a hard single blow and then seemed to have a whole new stride in the fight, but cnnor appeared loose and limber all throughout generally speaking.
