For those (like me) who prefer a clean dial, there is a no-date version, but it's available in white only.

I would have opted for the no-date, were it available when I ordered my original pair. I still love them all the same though! I did opt for the no-date version of the Solaris. Cheers

I snagged the blue one. What a stunning watch! The build quality is amazing . Feels great on the wrist. I bought the fold over clasp. Didn't use it. Got a good fit with the butterfly clasp. It will be a favorite in my collection.

My version one is one of my favourite watches! I have the blue version that is the most timeless and classic colour for this watch imo. Other than this colour being one of the discontinued ones there hasn't been much changed. I'm happy about it because this new version doesn't make version 1 look obsolete all of a sudden.

Mine too buddy! It's so well done and just generally a pleasure to wear. I've told Sergio, I feel like a million bucks every time I put one on. The V1 teal blue is a beauty! I meant to mention it in the video, but I prefer the V1 case aesthetic without the holes. I too love that only that and the dial colors were the changes. Cheers

@@JonathanTReviews Fully agree about the drilled lug holes on this style of watch. The white date wheel is another subtle change from to the colour matched ones on version 1.

I love the multidimensional dial design. It’s very rare to encounter a dial that is beautiful AND not an obvious homage design. But I do wish there is less mirror polished surfaces on the case and bracelet. Both 04 and 04v2 look just a tiny bit too dressy to be an everyday watch, for my taste. Pretty much the other boxes are ticked, unique & beautiful dial, excellent dimension/proportion etc. I’d also like to see “Swiss made” on the case back rather than the dial, like they did with drz05 solaris.

Absolutely, the bowl shaped dial adds so much depth and visual appeal! Sergio is an excellent designer in my opinion. Understandable with the mirror polish accents. It's a touch on the dressy side of sport, though I think it's still very well suited to casual use, but preferences definitely come into play. Cheers

The strap change friendliness is nice (I was hesitant to get my first for the same reason), but the bracelet integration is so good and the bracelet itself is crazy comfortable. Cheers

@@direnzowatches have you considered making a 'first link adapter' similar to what is available for the casio 5600 which would taper from 23 to 20mm? If not - I may actually have a go myself!

Batavi made a similar adapter for their Architect model. Cool concept, though I'm not a huge fan of the lug to lug increase with it on. Cheers

It would be pushing it or too large IMO. Wrist shape/width plays a role too, but that's likely going to have some overhang. There is supposed to be a 38mm version in the future that would be a better fit. Cheers
