As a retired stagehand O have to admit that is one of the nicer looking road boxes I have seen, much nicer than the one I own and toured with. Another great job Jimmy, thanks.

After watching the video advert i was still skeptical. But when i finally downloaded the plans kzbin.infoUgkxZF0EMnrujZvqHhGkxiz559uIABJWR9TG i was very impressed. The whole plan was just as you said in the video. Thank you very much. I now have a large and valuable collection for my woodworks. This is great!

It can not be that there are people who do not like the work that this man does totally by hand, totally handmade ... these videos I love, I was so master!

Awesome how your new tools come into the shop and immediately get in the workflow. That sheetmetal brake would be so nice to have. And the yellow tools also. The kicker is, the jigsaw looks as old as me!
@timberdish7 жыл бұрын
the leather pieces on the handles and on the neck of the bottles just took what was already a classy build to the next level. Great stuff! :-)

Who knew that something so utilitarian could be so beautiful? This is like two builds in one. I love it!

I love to see how you incorporate your new tools in your creative process - the laser cutter and sheet metal bender already being put through their paces in the Diresta shop!

Jimmy you make it look so easy, having done woodworking as a hobby I know it isn't that easy. Only a true pro can make it look that easy.

That's not a road case. THAT is a beautiful work of art! Wow.

I know your at this for years and your comfortable with the tools you use but you make it look easy, it's like when you pick up a tool it says "show me what I can do Jimmy"

Another outstanding video! Aside from your incredible talent and craftsmanship, one of the things I appreciate most about your videos is the respect you show the viewer. That is, instead of spending time droning on and on about what you are going to do, you simply do it, and you speed up the video just the right amount. This is brilliant video making.

Jimmy a old carpenter told me many years ago "set the blade height as deep as you would like it to cut into your hand! " Now I'm the old carpenter telling the same story! Great job on the cabinet

To a simple man like me, you, Mr. Jimmy, are a magician. Even if it would have no purpose for me, and would just stand somewhere in the corner collecting dust, I would love to have a case like this.

So cool! Makes me want to build flight cases for everything. I like how you fabricated the brackets you couldn't buy. That's a nice touch.

I don't know how you work that fast. Amazing. Also, my first impulse always is to measure, cut, then install. Thank you for the reminder that installing first, then trimming to size is the better way to go (when possible).

The reason I love watching your videos is because it inspires me how you can take the idea of the long standing roadie case and re-imagine it as a bar cart made of wood that you can use as a display piece as well as transport well. Too cool. When my schedule opens up I have to start a couple new projects.

Jimmy, you are an artist. Beautiful work as always, at the end I caught myself aloud saying "woooow" I've noticed little artifacts in your paint, as a professional painter I speak from experience. As a creator, I know we all appreciate tips. I've learned more from Jimmy Diresta than from anyone, please allow me to recciprocate. I'd suggest: degrease (alcohol) scuff (scotchbrite pad) primer (best to use an etching primer, then a filler primer) paint sealer (polyurethane, urethane, wax, lacquer, whatever the can doesn't say is incompatible)
@Creator_Nater7 жыл бұрын
Degrease after scuffing, and I think etching primer might be incompatible with aluminum. Etching primer is for bare metal, it has ACID so for the love of everything that's holy, use a fan, lots of ventilation, and eye, and lung protection, (best to use a full faceshield, and clean supply air)

Wouldn't make more sense placing the bottles outwards so you could see them once you open the case? Great video anyways Jimmy!
@kerberos6237 жыл бұрын
This is going to be a bardisk. as such only the bartender would see the bottles. Makeing them more easily grabbable is a bigger priority.
@Jordanixting7 жыл бұрын
Also i dont think it would be easy to access them, as they would have to be placed much lower in the cabinet
