I was 1 of the only 😺, in All the various groups I hung with, from intellectual, real clean straight dudes to hair-band aficionados w/ hot blondes that used a whole can of hair spray before going out, to hard core bikers, etc , Etc, etc. Remember This was late '70s - early '80s ; a lot of different things were going on, mostly lame, but I was all over, late teens, had been on my own for some years already, always had decent work, the best herb, knew bands & music ind. people, always had THE BEST, WHICH WAS ALL IMPORTED, blah, blah, blah..

Mark Knopfler is the best technically proficient guitarist that I've had the pleasure to listen to, all the way back to The Beatles in 1964. It's a shame that he isn't recognized as such in the U.S. but when the guitar gods in Europe get together for a concert jam he's always put out front and center..What a pleasure it is to listen to him on songs like this as well as the more demanding tunes that don't get air play.
