@@Oceanic_Adventures Love those screaming reels. We've had a few encounters this year off the Bird, more than usual.

Lets start using safety gear like a life jacket, even better lets tie our selfs off so we dont risk our own or others lifes trying to save you from your own stupid choices, accidents happen better to be safe than sorry and as one of the older crew myself lets teach others young n old how to rock fish safely and yes i push the matter every time i see people putting them self and potentially others at risk, lost to many mates to stupid choices while rock fishing, and honestly dont know you from a bar of soap but i bet you have friends n family that would like you home safe after a day of fun whats a $60 life jacket and a couple of $$$ on rope n a harness really worth a shite load less than ur life brother be safe and keep the content coming

Hey Grant I can assure you we have safety equipment- life jacket, epirb, sat phone and most importantly an escape route at these ledges we fish. We have swam off some of these. Given the location If you can’t self recover then it won’t be a good outcome, personally I don’t wear a life jacket while I’m fishing as it’s too cumbersome and hot Ropes/harness however are more of a hazard on a limestone cliff as they constantly snag up causing a trip hazard. though they are great on granite rocks like the south coast. Thanks for watching I have one more vid from this trip to post in a few weeks
