I think his last all star teammate was steve nash and that was at the beginning of their careers, at the time he won the championship jason kidd was already past his prime, yeah he did have a pretty good team, but that was just it pretty good. But talent wise he was always severely undermanned

I don’t think it would help if Holger AND Dirk tried to help coach Porzingis. Porzingis would have to have an entire rest day after each coaching session and then several days off per week because something hurts. For the amount of money that guy earns, he should be out there working in a full body cast if that’s what it takes to get the job done instead of only working here and there when he’s not tired. Can you imagine Dirk acting that way?

James Chung, In today's game? yes, good post plays are more entertaining and require more skills than draining an open 3pt. But if you are saying Dirk should have stick to post moves then I must disagree, Dirk is Dirk, he became the legend he is because of his unique set of skills in his time, in today's game more and more centers are into shooting 3pts in favour of low post scoring, it'll get to the point where 3pt shooting centers is something normal and boring.

That is exactly my point, Mohammad Obaid, during the 90s or early 00s, someone like Dirk would be an amazing guy to look at, while some great centers are still around. The games seems more structurally complete. Now, there are something missing, and I am talking about the dominance of a great center. I can't find someone like Ewing, Morning, Oneal or Olajuwon in today's game. Someone like Dwight Howard and DeAndre Jordan are good, but not great, you know what I mean? They are supposed to be doing much more than they are right now with their amazing athletic ability. I mean they are good, but not great.
