Yeah the dead end of the 90's until the beginning of the 2010's was a time for Power Forwards: Duncan, Garnett, Malone (end of his prime & slightly past prime), Sheed, Webber, Dirk, Gasol, K-Mart, Hedo, Amar'e Stoudemire, Chris Bosh, Jermaine O'Neal, Lamar Odom, Elton Brand, Zach Randolph, Antawn Jamison, David West, Rashard Lewis, Antoine Walker, Carlos Boozer, Paul Millsap, Josh Smith, Antonio McDyess.

Or a guy just playing mind games to mess with your focus and performance. A lot of players did that. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. With guys like dirk and duncan, it didn't seem to.

Dude was trying to win games. Psychological warfare usually keeps you on the court longer than trying to fight lol

If Dirks kids watch the Championship run and don’t realize he is one of the greatest players who put on an OTHERWORDLY performance to win it all, they are bad kids. It was also funny that the plan for Dirk in the army was to put him in the back and have him survey. (Be tall and look around)😂😂😂

Honestly the people commenting on KG doesn't know KG like i do i seen KG dunk on Kobe at the target center. KG is a true champion and better than dirk but overall

Quite assassin like TD these guys didn't need the trash talk for motivation or fan entertainment they just killed opponents with a stoic demeanor. Trash talking never affected Dirk and TD they ran KG out the west

This is funny because I just just had a dream last night that I met MJ. I joked with him and told him That my young self would not have a chance against him in his older self. I told him in the dream which is actual fact that a friend of mine named his son Jordan after him

When people think European players soft but these guys gone through military training
@scottipippen6554

Are you serious? Going to the German Bundeswehr (=army) for 2-3 months for basic training was then and is still now only one thing: a huge waste of time, lol. "Europeans are soft" is porbably the most stupid prejudice in basketball history. At the beginning the gab between european players going to the NBA was often due to lack of ahteltic abilities. But almost never skillset. Šarūnas Marčiulionis was build like a tank, Drazen Petrovic was a badass. Vlade Divac was more finess, but for sure not soft. He just wasn`t that strong build as Shaq, Robinson, Ewing or Zoe. American arrogance was probably at its pick in the 70s and 80s, which is not that surprising since the college teams beat the rest of the world for decades at the Olympics. But if Yougoslavia had sent their best and if not the war hadn`t broke out, the Dream Team would had had another competition in 92..
