I'm so happy that montalegre is in Dirt 4, I love the challenge of this track, and the curbs are just as viscous in real life. Also, might want to not drive as cleanly, RX is definitely a contact sport!

Periodic Entertainment they're direct recordings from the actual cars. So yeah pretty good. Even ting little details like creaks and brake squeals are in there

I'm a longtime follower of your FH5 videos, and I've been using a number of your videos to help me make a decision about buying a game with a good rallycross element (such as Dirt 4 and Dirt Rally 2), but I also want to good multiplayer experience. How does this game do in that regard? I'm even wondering if Assetto Corsa has any rallycross. Thanks.

maybe a hose popped off the radiator... the took a zip-tie and popped the hose on again.. Or the only damage was a slightly loose cap on the radiator which a mechanic casually tightened

They did a good thing by introducing awesome Group B Rallycross cars, but why on Earth did they ignore the Audi Sport quattro S1 E2 Rallycross car... it was used in real life and it's in the normal rally part of the game so confused at the decision not to use it. Also surprised they didn't keep the normal Sport quattro from Dirt Rally as well as the S1 E2. The 205 GTI got added rather than replacing the T16 so would have been nice to have seen more quattro too!

The handling on the dirt series (Other than Rally) has always been dumbed down

Dirt 4 is to Dirt Rally what Forza Horizon is to Forza Motorsport. If you think about it in that way it makes perfect sense. And for someone like me who had a real hard time with Dirt Rally, Dirt 4 hits that absolute sweet spot in terms of driving physics, and as a result I'm having an absolute blast with it. Not everything needs to be a balls to the wall hardcore simulator you know.

It was said that Dirt 4 had the same (simulation) handling as Dirt Rally - it obviously has not. Which is a tremendous let down for us sim racers - and false advertising!
