What size micro bleeder or make will fit the racetech cap?

What’s the length on that spring? Is it 740mm? Do the race tech springs work with the WP single leg conversion kit?

I have a 21 husqvarna 300 thx with spring forks. I also have a 21 KTM 300 Xc. I plan to sell the husky but I like the spring forks so I was considering swapping them. Any issues with that? Thanks!

How do you match the oil height for each side to be equal? Now with the spring there is more volume take up, does it matter?

Where can I find that exact same graphics kit on that bike?
@rmatvmc Жыл бұрын
This is the Roost kit from Attack Graphics. It has since been discontinued but one can still be made for you. Feel free to email attackgraphics@rockymountainatv.com and let them know you'd like the kit in this video and they can get you taken care of!

RT has a lot more spring options than 3. I count 8 on their site. Seems like RT has the most options for light and heavy riders of all the spring conversions. You need to get all the springs with their actual rate on your site. Soft, medium and hard makes this look like a B grade product. I don't really think it is.

For 220 lbs ride RT says .89-.91, but you used a .92 for a 165 person? Is RT off or was the spring to high?
@jcbenson01 Жыл бұрын
What did you find? Did you ever do the conversion? I’ve got two bikes with single spring conversion. One is RT and one is K-Tech and both are very soft in front and bottom easily. I think the companies started off way off base on their rates. I looked at the RT website calculator and it recommends a .97 for me @ 180 # B Moto.
@leroywilliams7210 Жыл бұрын
I have the RT on both my bikes. RT calc said .89-.91 at time (I think they finally updated) and my other bikes in past were always.46 so doubled (1 spring vs 2) is .92. I bought .92. It’s a bit soft! I would go 1 rate higher. I left it as I have bad wrists and found it really helped with pain. I then did Max oil volume so that it ramps up faster and I lowered forks in the clamps as it was diving a bit. So it’s sitting lower in travel a tad. I should go up a rate but didn’t want to spend the $ and it’s been working with the above setup. For reference I’m late 40s, pretty fast and aggressive and ride everything from fast flow to slow tech.

@@leroywilliams7210 great info. Thank you. I agree. It seems like they updated their calculator along the way to recommend firmer. I dunno what’s in the bike now but I’m gonna try to figure it out and go up one rate. It feels good except for hard landings where there’s just no bottoming resistance and it bottoms too easy.
@jcbenson01 Жыл бұрын
@@leroywilliams7210I could be wrong, but this makes sense to me: a two sided spring will require a softer combined spring rate than a single side spring since the dual spring setup also has two valve cartridges slowing down the travel. So I would think if I were a .48 on a dual spring, I’d need to be at least 1.0 on single.

@@jcbenson01yup, sucks I bought off their recommendation then too soft and now cost me double. Thanks racetech. Also, remember the oil height, makes a noticeable difference. If I remember the range is 525-575cc. I started at Min and was so soft I went straight to max. That will help with bottom out. Like adding Tokens in an MTB Fork.

Make this conversion kit cheaper!!
@sam-ww1wk4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, no shit...that should come with the bike in the first place. Air forks in mountain bikes have always sucked ass. Only made because they're cheap, and then sold has high tech light weight bogus crap.
