Hello friends. NOTE! It is important that you strain the organic matter from this brew after it has been sitting for a couple of monts. You need to make sure no flies or maggots or any other type of animal get into your brew. That will be the start of the end. After you have strained the organic matter from the liquid, it is important to keep it dark and cool. Best to use it straight away and within the next moon or so. The longer you let it sit, the more acidic it can potentially become if it’s too hot. As time goes by, it gets to a point that it is potentially HARMFUL! It can turn rotten. It can turn acidic. It can turn alchohol. All of which are unbenificial! Best to save a glass bottle of the strained seven day old brew and put it in the fridge as your mother brew, and use the rest once or twice a month during the following months. Updated version video nr 6. Please watch. 😊

You are spot on. I could not figure out what that toilet paper thing was about, it didn't make a whole lot of sense. Anyone could survive quite well without toilet paper, washing yourself is not that complicated. So, when you said in your video that you wondered what it would be like if there was no food in the stores. Exactly! I have been researching survival methods for two years, but like you said in one of your videos, it's nice to dream, but there's nothing like actually doing it. What really scares me, is what if there was no more food in the stores, people in the cities are very dependent and seemingly unaware that continuing to live like we do in the city will eventually destroy our ability to live on this planet. People just want to continue doing what they are doing, I find that really strange because if we don't stop, we will be stopped, lol.

Your videos really seem to go beyond the usual (even decent advice) on KZbin. They hit at the heart of what people know to be healthy and helpful for their gardens. They are not the simple and easy magic pill that everyone wants to find but instead do involve some reasonable knowledge and guidance (thanks for so generously offering), and some reasonable work to put into practice. These are the kind of works that bring balance to gardens and gardeners. Thanks again. Maine, USA.

I wish schools were just like this video. I have comfrey growing all over our property. Chickens for poo, & I’ve always got bananas that either end up in baking or past it. I find these very inspirational. Being in the states we are headed into fall/winter. This will be food for thought next season
@roberthamilton43354 жыл бұрын
Agreed! Spring isn't too far away. If you have access to fall leaves, now is the time to gather them up into a huge pile or just spread them onto the garden. They full of minerals and make wonderful compost. Also, you can use them as a mulch to keep the top of the soil moist and dark. Fall is the time to gather them!
@jeshurunfarm4 жыл бұрын

@@roberthamilton4335 I will have plenty of fall leaves in about three weeks. Straw used for duck bedding and lawn clippings accumulated. Should have a good start on the garden
@roberthamilton43354 жыл бұрын
@@robertscully3876 awesome. In my opinion, the easiest method is to just spread all that stuff on garden site in the fall along with stems and plant material from the previous season. It may not all decompose before spring when it comes time to plant but anything that's leftover becomes mulch. It's a win win method in my opinion. Dig under the mulch and plant your transplants in the spring. Mulch is wonderful for retaining water, feeding the microbes and giving them a dark, moist place to live. It's leaps and bounds better than the status quo of bare soil around the veggies.
@beckymiller67034 жыл бұрын
Robert, I live in the states too, but now is the time to grow the cool loving vegetables! I made the mistake of trying to grow cauliflower this past spring, all I got was leaves (it's okay because my chickens love the leaves!) but now is the time to plant broccoli, cauliflower, snap peas, kale, lettuce, bok choy. ... and if you still have your beets, carrots, Swiss Chard, they will winter over... use the leaves as a cozy bed of mulch. I will be using my compost pile to keep my seedlings warm this next spring, I hope I won't have to use warming pads, but the warmth of the compost to keep them warm for germination.... guess we will see!
