Fast classic cars like this are really hard to control, especially when you have to be quick and precise. My brain often struggles on what movements to make when i have a lot to manage quickly like left foot braking then manual shifting lol Anyway, amazing skills !

@@Storm_RX I am still amazed at the sheer power of the Lancia Delta S4 Group B. This monster gains rpm so freaking fast even on difficult terrain, it almost feels like a formula car ! Very chaotic and satisfying drive :>

I never played this one until I got my Steam Deck but it was one of my first I got because I learned that you can play at some pretty high graphics levels. And let me tell you playing at 45 fps at high/ultra on the small screen and the game looks absolutely incredible. I mean really amazing considering that the games a few years old now.

It will have tons of content in terms of stages and locations so should be good fun :) I do think Codemasters will take WRC to the next level though, should be a good few years with them in control I think!

To me Ultra and High makes no visual difference but a huge FPS difference. I get low 60 on Ultra but almost 100 on High. 2x MSAA, 16x AF and TAA is on. RX 6700 non XT 1440x3840@144hz, 16gb ram, r5 3600

yep i agree. high looks great/fine and compared to ultra, the difference is just about impossible to discern. Ultra is probably just whatever they could throw in there without any optimisation, whether or not that can be seen.

Thanks, much appreciated :) As a good starting point for the g29, I would recommend turning soft lock off and putting steering saturation down to 50. That way all cars will have 540 degrees of rotation which I think just helps with consistency and control between the different cars. Then I would also probably turn self aligning torque down a bit as it’s way too high as default. Maybe even turn steering centre force either off completely or at least down a fair bit too. Hope this helps! Let me know if not :)

Interesting point! I actually personally prefer the way DR 2.0 looks especially with regard to the colours, reflections and lighting, but I do agree that the original was also a really nice looking game! Especially considering how long ago it came out! And I get what you mean in terms of realism, it was quite natural looking and not too over the top :)

I have the same vibes from the very start i play dirt 2.0. Rain on the windshield too in my opinion. And suspension feels and looks much more soft especially during replays when you have time to look at it. Dirt rally 2 has great road reflections and other effects but simply driving through forest in wales for example have much more details in first dirt rally. My dream is that someone can do a dirt rally 2.0 tracks port to a dirt 1 game!! 😅

Same in New Zealand and Australia, we all drive on the left. Shifter is always left hand with the right hand, for most people the main hand, it makes more sense you control steering with the right hand while you shift.
