Dude trinity sub are very nice ,with that said I'd go with the Trinity 8k per sub for sure . Would make a cool set up .

I suppose if it my selection, I'd rather spend a little extra on the amps to get DD Audio's M8000 amp, as they're every bit as good as the JP83 and are more compact. Though if you're looking to save (a lot!) of money, the DS18 GFX-8K1 could get you by without any major grievances in comparison... 🤷🏻‍♂️ And nice pick on the Trinity subs! I had debated them alongside the Harmony Audio HA-ML18's for a long while before deciding on going with some Timpano 15s instead for a different design... Looking forward to seeing how your build all ends up!

I get the new smart 8k amps they are 15k amps dialed back that way u won't have to push ur amps to the limit with the jp 83

Im really liking what this company has. Im thinking im going with a 15" of the Mseries, for in my ford focus. I have a question: have you seen any 8" subs that actually perform decent? My wife has a crew cab silverado and wants a lil bass in there. She dont like the super loud stuff, just a lil thump for her music. Would an 8" be enough? Never seen one in action besides videos.

If you just need a lil bump for her I love my little Kicker Comp R. It doesn't take much power to get loud and it's just a solid built sub.

I would like to see some Trinity amp reviews. I have a bass 15k in my ride but switching back to Korean soon. The jp83 is looking good. I miss my old incriminator amps and I wouldn't mind going back to those either. I had the old 40.1's years ago and they were awesome. The newer models look solid too but not many people run incriminator anymore :( I tried getting the death penalty subs last year but they didn't and probably still don't have the parts to put em together so I went with the zv6's

If you are demoing i would use an amp that is pushing constant current like a smart 8k. Looking to wire down and get an SPL burst go with a korean board. If electrical iffy go with korean.

No hate at all . Just seen a guy getting super low and windy with this sub.. but this motor doesn't look 900 oz to me AT ALL.. it honestly looks half that tbh . I have a dd 9518 that's 400 something and a Rockford t2 13 that's 528 oz . This looks more like the 9500 size ..

I just ordered three more of these. Woofer is 85-87 pounds total. A 900+ oz magnet is roughly 56 pounds. So another 30 for soft parts and basket. That's about right

Damn really I'm about to order the TAS-M18..I have a older comp american bass 18" ( the ones with the yellow Kevlar cone) I was going to replace it with the trinity cause the motor is huge on the trinity and the xmax is 1 inch!! How much power did it take to blow it?

What's budget to you? 2000? 1000? 500? What is small to you? 4 18s? 4 15s? 4 12s? Or 1 8"? What is SQ to you lifelike performance? Just sounds decent? Using a dsp? Sealed box or ported? Infinite baffle? Question is so broad you can't give a suggestion.
