I don't know anything about multipiece crankshafts. So I am just asking a question. If that is all it takes to align the main journal (twisting the crank around the crank pin) won't the crank just become misaligned again when you run the motor? I mean the inertia of the counter weight and flywheel on the opposite side the drive side of the crank while dumping the clutch surely will try to rotate the crank around the crank pin. Or is there a way to fix the pin after the alignment is performed?
