OMG I had a orgasim watching that 500 rip up the ground. What an awesome torque monster. The rider must have had to really put in saddle time to truly understand that bikes power curves and handling. He is very good. The front suspension seems perfectly dialed, the rear suspension seems to softly tweaked. That Yamaha bike is going to give Honda KTM Kawasaki and Gas Gas a hard run for their money. He did start out with a KTM which it already had fuel injection. But he change that out to a different setup Because it was not getting its Max potential so they put a different fuel injection system in. and to get the most out of it they brought it over to Scotland. there was a guy over there that had a special tuner, he worked with that bike getting a lot more horsepower out of it. That bike they call Kong is something really special. I don't know if the bikes that Kaplan cycle built could keep up with it. I would love to see a race with all of them. I know he had more than one professional racer race that bike against the pros. And nobody has beaten that bike yet.😊

I'd like to see you race that bike against the dirt bike they call YZilla, that laser 999 built. That 500 is carbureted also. Then you can test your luck against Kong. That's the fuel injected bike they built. And if you want to test that bike, call and talk to Kaplan senior from Kaplan cycles. He built some top-notch CR500s. race it against Kaplan cycles CR500s. The one he built for his son to race has nothing but the best of the best parts. The CR500 that he built for himself is putting out 60 horsepower at the rear wheel. Now if you Put that bike against any of these dirt bikes, then you'll know what you really have.

how does it sound just like a 250cc? wtf
@zackk6955 ай бұрын
Why did the 500cc not be the fastest laps times against the 250, or did they? I don’t think they did. Was the 500’s built to much for a human to handle? I know I raced them for 2 years and you need a lot more muscle to handle the bike so that means the bike racers are usually 20lbs heavier which slows them down and also the bike itself is heavier so maybe that added to it. I just happen to notice at motocross de nations that the 250’s would almost always win when in reality if the rider weight is the same a 500 should win. I know in Supercross they were almost useless because that bike was made for high speed motocross

How is the power on a track? Is it a wheelie machine? Suspension is obviously a set up issue. Kyb is best in business. Really want to understand what the engine is like. Not impressed in the least. Its not a contest of looks cool its function. For the cost of bike and 8000 for brc engine then finishing product. The bang for price is extreamly absent. Not only that im certian you could start with a mid 80s 500 keep the factory engine and frame and build somthing equally as fast if not faster for the money. Since when did better not include the price tag? Dont get me wrong bike looks good and is probably fun just not practical. Just tired of seeing these conversation bike all over, makes me realise how few actual 500 riders their are anymore.

Answer basic questions, like- comparison to the cr500, costs involved, hill climb ability, KTM 300 comparison, etc. Just droning around someones impromptu test track for hours on end is boring and lazy.
