Hey, just had an idea. 💡 When Gunner’s sitting in the cab, with you, you could let him sit his hands on the joysticks with you. Then he’d learn the controls, just by repetition & muscle memory. Eventually you will be able to let him do the moving, then next step, take your hands off completely! 😎 Love the content. Kia Kaha, Grant from NZ

Very true comment! I learned a lot about hard work, also learned a side of my dad I didn’t like. I hated going to work with him because of his ethics and personality at work and home vs church, very two faced! But I don’t regret it now as I learned basic plumbing and electrical as well as framing and general carpentry! Also learned basis auto mechanics which steered my career path early on! It’s crazy looking back though on the moment where I knew right from wrong and realized that very different side of my dad!

I regularly was the grade rod boy holding it straight to get the levels set for the week ahead. I used to get to ride with the machine operators or dump trucks running muck away from the sites. Those were great times with my dad and his teams on the construction sites. Sadly I lost him last year but will always be a construction boy at heart. Thanks for another great video Mike. Cheers Stu.
