I played the game back in 2018 before they started dropping crazy updates all the time and Perma death is harder now especially the space dog fights. I find the space combat the most challenging as an old school PD player. I remember when the hardest thing about Perma death was falling through the planet or out of your freighter😅

In order to be able to win a dogfight in Permadeath, you need to install the Phase Beam. If you hit another ship with it, it automaticely recharges you shield.

Idk about satisfying but definitely hilarious. I collided with a big plant in my ship, and ricocheted between it and the ground until I died. I also almost died accidentally flying into a cave. (While trying to land???) Escaped totally disoriented and upside down. Forget the enemies and climate, geometry is the real killer in this game. Those plants are hard.

The best way to deal with sentinels period is to sprint-dodge-jet pack and fling yourself away. Gets you way out of their searching radius and you can spoof them all day long Also the fastest way to travel on foot

@@DirtTheGamer I've come very close, one time I completely ran out of life support and didn't have any oxygen so I was running around looking for oxygen not realizing that di-hydrogen can be made into life support gel
