I actually live in Gilbert, between the Devil Anse, and Rockhouse trail systems. I love meeting out of town peeps out here enjoying our little National Treasure. Our personal “outlaw trails” are just as cool, if not cooler. I literally ride at least every other day. It NEVER gets old. Haha Come down, and enjoy!

I live here! Not rubbing it in, but I ride at least every other day. I live in Gilbert, between the Devil Anse, and Rockhouse trail systems. Our “personal” local trails are just as cool, if not cooler. I actually rode today, for about 4 hours, in between my school bus runs. Come on down, man. You won’t regret it.

Invest in a Silky Saw folding saw, best hand saw you can buy. It's expensive but worth it!

I’d love to try another trail, we rode Indian Ridge last year and I wasn’t impressed. It was basically like the trails here in Pennsylvania. I want more scenery and maybe some water crossing. I think Rock House would be a good idea

Loved the trails on Hatfield and McCoy systems and y’all should try to ride the NATRA TRAIL systems of West Point Tennessee and Rainbow Falls in Savannah Tennessee although NATRA is a membership trail system if you can find a member that can ride when you’re there and willing to take you there using the friend guest pass of about $15-20 a day per person it’s well worth it

Quick Question, What month did you go when this was filmed because the bugs didn't look bad. My wife is concerned about the bugs and needs an answer please, before we can plan a trip to those trails! We are looking at the second week of July 2025. Thanks
@dirttraxtv3 ай бұрын
This was actually filmed back in May. Weather conditions were good. Can't speak to mid July. Not sure how buggy it would be.
@PolarBear007773 ай бұрын
@@dirttraxtv Thanks for the fast reply! Well, if it wasn't very buggy in May, then it technically should not be worse in July...at least that's how it works here in Quebec! LOL. Now to start planning! Btw, do you have any suggestions for Can Am rentals in the Hartfield Region? Thanks Again
@dirttraxtv3 ай бұрын
K, let me look into that one for you.

Grew up riding these trails before they became the Hatfield and McCoy trails, other than the new ones. . . Narly ? You should have tried those trails before they were maintained, or the local trails. Plenty of Double Black, and Triple Black trails , but sometimes there just too dangerous for anyone, it’s not worth getting hurt over, or worse. If you try the black trails be careful, if you think it’s too risky, just pass. Like he showed, when storm systems come in those trails can change, what you could make it up last year, you might not be able to this year.

I’m from the south and would like to visit the areas, What does it cost to ride the trails ( any trails) ? is there fees for simply parking on or near a trailhead? Are there Daily fees? Please list cost of trail use, I don’t need the cost of cabins or motels,hotels in the areas.
