I had an MBRP on a Scat Pack Shaker Challenger and it sounded positively evil, both accelerating and decelerating, since it was a manual and you got all those wonderful pops and burbles on downshifts. I've had quite a few vehicles, of all types, with aftermarket exhausts and they all sounded good, in their own way. But, MBRP's exhausts just seem to have a mean streak to them, all their own.

The best thing about the MBRP, is that it actually gets better and better the longer you have it. I had one on my 2018 1500 Laramie and nearly cried when the dealer drove it away. It will be on my 22 Rebel in a week and I can be happy again. Lol. Awesome exhaust noise and quality too.

Can anyone comment on the following: how does the system sound when MDA is active? Does this have a significant affect on the sound? Do you have to disable MDS ?

Having a good quality stainless exhaust pays in the long run because you can put it on and not have to worry about it.

I liked my MBRP on a 2014 raptor, but quality was pretty low in my experience, I had the black coated exhaust, in the first 3 months most of it (close to all of it) flaked off from muffler to tail pipe, after the first winter(8 months installed) the guts of the muffler rattled really bad, but it sounded great in the beginning.

I got the same system and mine is really quiet. Is there a reason mine is really quiet? I mean it has a tiny deep rumble, but not nearly as much sound as it was hyped up to have.

Definitely could hear the difference.. owner will be pleased. I had the opportunity to drive a ram similarly to this in the past an they’re definitely an eye opening pickup. Great ride quality and the transmission was the circular version on the dash. I believe it was electronically limited as it was a rental.
