If you ever have an opponent hunch over or put their head down, this is a great dirty boxing technique to open up a devastating body shot to the liver.

Any tips on how to increase stamina? I get tired really quickly when punching the heavy bag and I really want to improve it
@coachpillowfists2 ай бұрын
There are many factors that can help with stamina. 2 vital ones have to do with proper breathing and road work! 🏃♂️ Not just intensive HIIT training, running is very important.

What do you think about full contact sparing? And can you full contact spar with people over your weight?
@coachpillowfists2 ай бұрын
If by full contact you mean hard sparring, I think it's good in moderation. You obviously have to know what it feels like to be in live combat so why not get a taste of that to acclimate your mind/body to the real thing? But I also think light sparring is more important because it helps you relax, think, and properly work on the things that matter without taking all the damage.
