Very nice. I had 8” bamuffler but wanted a little less interior noise so im waiting on a 12” to arrive now. Cant beat dirty deeds products amnd cs

Is the 8" obnoxious in the cab across the rpm range? Have you installed the 12" yet? Any change in drone?

@@m1stells261 the experience i had and am still having even with the 12” is that im getting a lot of deep,bass-ey,vibrating noise in the cabin at lower speeds/rpms. Basically it goes away if u get up to 65-70mph. But up until then there is some drone even with the resonator. Im going to message dirty deeds about it.

Stock my 2021 Tubdra droned. Put a Borla Touring on and it drones the same at a certain RPM/load.

@@m1stells261 actually i think i had exhaust leak causing more drone. The stock bolts came loose i had to replace them and the stock gaskets were shot so i replaced bolts and gaskets with different ones and ive got the stock exhaust back on. Honestly i miss how the 8” sounded at WOT. Im tempted to swap my 12 thats just sittinf in the box for the 8 again to see if theres any drone with the new gaskets

Can the resonator be welded vs bolted? Heard people have had issues with either over tightening and crunching the exhaust or it just loosing in up and sliding down.

Just tighten then try to move it around until it’s perfect

Nice shop, a great install, videagraphy excellent information for your viewers. Only one gripe and it minor, don't use a wood hammer on hard metals (center punch) most nails are soft metal that will bend and not pose a chipping eye hazard. Cheap claw hammers can chip . Use a ball peen hammer instead.

Do yourself a favor and just use straight thru mufflers. They sound so much better. Not that chambered crap
