😂 I have such mixed feeling over a Canadian doing a reaction/review of a UK hip hop artist. On one hand I feel like this highlights how UK hip hop is overlooked from within the UK on the other hand I’m really pleased that UK hip hop is getting attention and recognition. Although I haven’t watched the full reaction, hopefully positive. 🤞🏽

This is the thing with UK hip hop. I love the white artists as they rap for their love of being lyricists and you can easily hear how influenced they were by 90’s hip hop, especially when listening to Dirty Dike. The unfortunate thing though is that none of them (by them, I mean: Dirty Dike, Jam Baxter, Dabbler, etc) don’t get the recognition they deserve. Even Dave who is arguably one of the best story telling lyricists to come out of the UK doesn’t get the respect he deserves and that guy is ridiculously talented.

I hope he's not cut ties with HF but dike and Ronnie bosh are the only 2 HF artists I've ever seen live and it was in Glasgow scotland and I'm pretty sure they used the same caravan on stage so I hope to fuck that's not a ceremonial thing blowing the caravan up.
