I feel the concept of the song so deep. Not famous whatsoever. However had three brain surgeries at the age of 26 in 1 year and had a failed back procedure. I'm 2 years post-op and in extreme pain everyday. So when I do take stuff to mask the pain, when I see people I have to pretend I'm a whole different person. Not because I'm not trying to be fake. Just the normal societal standards. It wouldn't be good social etiquette to just curl up in a ball and cry on the floor might get arrested or other things. I just really feel like since health issues very few people can truly understand. Basically, what it's like to have a non-curable health condition, starting in your twenties. Anyways love this song and love so many of your guys's music. Stand tall will always be the top favorite. I still can't believe it's been about 12 years since I first heard you with sublime with Rome on the radio. Much love 🌱✨

Another great song on another great DH album. 95% of the Dirty Heads songs are either really good or excellent. This album was great all the way through. I just wish it had been longer than 13 songs.

Guys there just trying out there sounds, No Matter what Ill Always love there sound. This album is pretty good, But by comparison to any port in a storm its sounds surprisingly like it. Any port in a storm will always be my favorite though. But quit bitching they sound more 'pop' They sounds pretty 90's and theres still reggae in every song, just a little bit with techno sprinkled over it. Either way, Im A Dirty Head for life~

All arguments that this isn't the Dirty Heads style are invalid. Exhibit A: Hip Hop Misfits. Exhibit B: Lonely One. If you think this sound is a sell out or far from their style you are mistaken. This is closer to their roots. This is the original version of Any Port in a Storm before Lay me Down.

What are you guys talking about saying this is the "old style Dirty heads"? They always say they like being who they are because even if they do something a little different there fans will think its fucking sick. All their songs are their style. its all sick as fuck.

@jamiehasfun2310 жыл бұрын
Alex Horsley i felt the same way when i 1st heard it
@justinhammond202210 жыл бұрын
Alex Horsley I agree, and Ricky Ryan people have less room to be calling out others for saying they don't like something than the people who are voicing their opinion. They're just saying the don't care for a new album, the people who get call them out are basically saying that they're not allowed to tell the band they think the "new stuff" sounds shitty to them.
@immyselfandonlyme10 жыл бұрын
Justin Hammond no no, its the people who are saying "their new album sucks, its not like them, they need to go back" its implying they though it was gonna sound the same as the others. it is called sound of change, people needed to expect this, i mean if people start pulling the "if youre a true dirty heads fan" type of shit in my OPINION you clearly are not. like alex i mean no one is a true dirty heads fan or very little, most of the people on here that say they are fans from dirty demo days probably head it after they heard any port in the storm so i find it stupid to hear those comments. and no Alex Horsley i dont understand where youre coming from, they grew up on hip hop first, started off with beastie boys before sublime so bam.

Man I just can't believe how different they sound on their album "sound of change". On their album "SOUND OF CHANGE". so strange. On almost every song I see someone (usually the same people) bitching about it. Well guess what, all you have to do is go listen to something else. Never buy a dirty heads CD again if you are that butt hurt. Ever heard of this band called Red Hot Chili Peppers? Well they never changed and it worked out pretty damn well for them..... Oh wait a minute.... P.S. This song is legit and I've loved the dirty heads from the start. Don't think I'll stop. A true fan understands
