Because more people listen to those other genres. Rock had its time, its over. Get over it lol. This music still exists and you can listen to it, why do you need it to be popular?
@nessiemour47504 жыл бұрын
No need to get rid of other music forms just because you don't like it. Others do, and have varied tastes in music. All genres are great. The world doesn't revolve around your singular taste.

These guys are badass period, I grew up in the 80's and i still have that need for good rock.......
@tylerklein75875 жыл бұрын
I didn't grow up in the 80s, but I might as well have been. It's all I've listened to my whole life. I was 5 years old with a cd walk man with a belt cd holder and a Jean jacket. My cd belt had: Tools undertow, led zeppelin IV, ACDC high voltage, Aerosmith toys in the attick, and pink floyd dark side of the moon. I'm only 22. I'm educated on all music at this point in my life, but always veer back to the classics. I want these guys to bring back rock music. Tool and Korn made a big stand for harder rock, but the classic bands have grown too old to make new albums.. and the ones who do normally make trash, like teslas new album, and def leppard. But Kansas actually has a kick ass newer album. We need the younger generation to listen. That's all it takes. Most people my age have never heard of some of these bands, some think it's like noise because they never have heard it. But I've educated some, even african American friends of mine started to really enjoy rock music. I always get "man I never new there was so much emotion and meaning. I always thought rock music was just about yelling and anger"

About to hit 20yo and have had rock running through my veins since I was 5 I used to sit on my bed with my dad's cassette Walkman and listen to green days dookie and Ozzy Osbourne's black rain over and over greendays long view is how I got into music it just stuck in my head then I heard my dad playing bass along with primus's "Jerry was a racecar driver" and that was it for me everything about that song was perfect to me and I've been hooked like a fish ever since
