Been listening to them for a while, good to see some new rock with some recognition

Thank for following my suggestion for Dirty Honey on the reaction to Greta Van Fleet you did. This made my day. Love your channel.

I just LOVE that she can't help but smile in the sections that just draw you in. My reaction too!

Singer owes a dept to Robert Plant, I'd say. I agree with you about hearing the influence of bands that came before them.
@helenespaulding75624 ай бұрын
I can see that, in the sense that so many frontmen owe a debt to Plant. In this case, I’m getting a real Axel Rose or Stephen Tyler vibe.
@gwengoodwin39924 ай бұрын
Yeah, I hear Tyler too.

This guy's are doing a good job at keeping that 80's LA Glam Hard Rock relevant today! Has all the style yet found their way of making it their own, and that Queen melody line you referred to was I believe Bicycle Race?

Found this group too recently and like them -a good old fashioned rock band !

Never heard them before, but I like this. I could listen to this with the volume on eleven, especially if I had a cold beer at hand.

check out their videos on KZbin. They also cover Last Child by Aerosmith. I find them influenced by or creating a similar vibe to Aerosmith, Led Zep, Montrose and AC/DC

Another Great band in this Genre is Cry of Love!! But they only had lead singer on one album their debut called Brother!!! But OMG!!! WHAT an Album! Solid ALL THE WAY THROUGH!! Listen to, Highway Jones, Peace Pipe, Bad Thing, Pretty as you Please, Gotta Love Me, Bring it Home!! The guitar work and vocals on this album will blow you away. Listen to this whole album on repeat quite often. Dirty Honey and classic rock lovers will love it. So sad their lead singer only was with them for one album. But what an album!

This band is great! Just when they were setup for stardom, the pandemic hit. Saw them in a small club last year, and they put on a great show.

I like this a lot! It reminds me of Aerosmith a bit. I disagree completely about the Jack/Queen reference. I hear it as a metophor for their respective roles in the moment in their interraction. Just my 2 öre...

I hear a lot of Aerosmith in this song, especially the guitars.

Wow I hear early AC/DC , Robert plant, Cake , Aerosmith and many other groups put into one. I was hesitant to listen but it’s not bad at all. Cheers.

This was the first Dirty Honey song I hear around 2019. I picked up the same vibe as who may have influenced them.

I like them because they have a really similar sound to a lot of bands and that's a good thing in this song I particularly hear some Rolling Stones as well.

First time I have heard them. What a great song. And yes. Owes something to earlier artists but that's totally okay. On the shoulders of giants and all that ....

check out their other songs on KZbin. Flashback to 70's guitar driven rock. They even cover Aerosmith - Last Child.

I guess, this song by Dirty Honey similar to Change The World by Eric Clapton. Thank you.

Agreed. I was about to say the same thing.

Regarding the gambling references, one single die only goes up to six, so "Rolling 7's" is actually beyond the limits of possibility. So, it's like saying we're giving 110 percent.

I would listen to the masters before listening to their apprentices. But it seems that Vlad thinks differently.

Probably a commissioned song if I had to guess.

Remind me of Guns and Roses….or Aerosmith. Kinda derivative….but hey, a classic rock sound from 2017? I’ll take it!

As I listen to this band I hear an Aerosmith knock off. And Steven Tyler took his singing style from Robert Plant, except not as good and rich.
@helenespaulding75624 ай бұрын
I heard the same. But allot of Axel Rose in there too, to my ears.

Nothing musically original with this song. I've heard this generic beat a 1000 times before from better bands. Instead of this tripe how about some Blue Oyster Cult? They have tons of great songs like: "Astronomy", "Veteran Of The Psychic Wars", "Burnin' For You", "(Don't Fear) The Resper", "Godzilla" and "Flaming Telepaths" just to name a few.

Just another american rock band that will be forgotten in a heartbeat. I know you have done a couple of Dire Straight music but i fear you have been fed the safe ones you realy need to look at and listen to Sultans of Swing alchemy live. Live music at its best musically and visually and try not to hit the pause to much. Has to be the alchemy version.

I would have preferred a song called 'Dirty Honey' by a band called Rolling 7's. 😄 Yes, the singer has been influenced by Robert Plant, also the band sound reminds me of Free. Seems the early 70's rock revival is here!
@helenespaulding75624 ай бұрын
I agree although I heard more Axel Rose in his voice or even Stephen Tyler. But yeah, a 70’s sound in 2017. I’ll take it!

@@helenespaulding7562 Axel voice is a copy of Dan McCafferty of Nazareth. He even admits that. GNR covered Hair of the Dog.
