Thanks for that reaction and appreciation of Next To You! That funky vibe is irresistible. Henrik’s explains the making and recording of this track and others, in an interview with ‘Bass Magazine, Songified’. Worth a read. And despite looks here in this vid, Henrik (bass) was NOT playing in front of a wall of amps ;) There weren’t any backup singers either. All of the vocals you can hear on this track, including all of the various choirs, were written and sung by Jonah alone. Aron (drums), apart from laying down a ridiculously funky groove, also co-wrote this piece, including that one-note chorus. The gospel vibe too, is strong in this song. Thanks for reading out the lyrics, too. Henrik recently described their general approach to the way they write lyrics: Aron might come up with some lyrics, but based solely on the sound of the lyrics, the vowels in particular, otherwise being total gibberish. Henrik then tries to convert that into lyrics which make sense :) Thanks again for a rad review! 🙏 Next up could be Dirty Loops “Work Shit Out”. Less vocals, but two big solo sections. One for keys, and an epic one by Aron! 🔥🔥🔥

Yup, amazing! This is a rabbit hole you definitely wanna go down, cause you're in for a treat and some world class musicianship. As already suggested: 'Work Shit Out' would be great, cause that's an epic one, but really, everything Dirty Loops is phenomenal. Just throw a dart, it doesn't matter.
