@@Kouros-t6d It's not EDM, it just uses some sounds and textures that were first developed by EDM producers, but can be found in all types of modern music and are not tied to any actual style. There is no EDM song that sounds anything like this. Sounds like you're triggered by the 3 letters more than actually appreciating how unique this piece is. This is more like modern funk and modern classical fusion with a ton of pop influence and EDM can be a way of thinking creatively about unlimited sounds and possibilities that modern technology can bring.

Loved the piece "Nothing" from Cole, no surprise Jonah is a huge fan of Louis Cole, as @fiddlestix3025 said. Both genius and dedicated musicians. I'm a composer, far away from their level, but I do really love that pop artists are getting masterly into Jazz, Soundtrack and Classical, besides other pleasurable styles as can we see the Funk and EDM in "When The Time Is Right" here, from Dirty Loops.

2:55 the melodic phrasing of these sections is wild, one of the very few times in music where I felt like I genuinely had no intuition as to where the next move was. It also has this ancient, diminished minor feeling that's so worth analysing.

I saw them in Montreal in March and I’m pretty sure I still have brain matter at the venue. It was absolutely mind fucking blowing. I felt emotions I didn’t know I had. These guys are also incredibly down to earth and took time to meet everyone at the end of the show. 10/10000000 would highly recommend you see them live if the opportunity arises. I couldn’t believe the quality of musicianship. I thought I legit died on the way to that show and was in music heaven - it was a trek for me lol
