YOur day already came but ye were too stupid to realise it. Twice now the people have voted for peace...the voted for the Treaty Collins brought back (and ye started a civil war). The IRA re-emerged with no little justification when Catholic pogroms were occurring in the North (so we could give ye a pass on that) but since the Good Friday Agreement, the people North and South voted for peace. Despite this mostly being a Paul Williams posturing and posing vehicle, it's still amazing to see this and know that it was made well before the Kinahan/Hutch gangs and 20+ murders , also the same deprivation in north central Dublin exists , the drug situation is even worse with plentiful supplies the length and breath of the country.... CAB is mostly chasing it's tale, the gardai are under resourced and we have one of the highest murder rates per Capita of any eu city. Sinn Fein are on the brink of gaining power although have now sold out on nationalism and wrapped themselves in the putrid blue and gold starred eu flag. Politicians are still on the make and brown envelopes stuffed with cash or a Bitcoin address still exist .

@Nigel Kent Hello Nigel - I agree that "all coppers are human" but disagree about the implication that "the same weakness for money".applies. I spent three decades at the sharp end in a famous city force and resented to the point of insult any belief that a financial inducement/bribe could be expected to work in the course of my duties. Sadly, it is always the bad apple that taints the barrel and i would certainly agree that these can exist and introduce a degree of rotteness that should be rooted out at every opportunity. That it does exist is recognised and I recall being the subject of internal disciplinary enquiries on more than one occasion as one of a chain of those officers caught up in the web of those renegades (my own word for them) who betrayed the trust of both the public and their colleagues. Despite the usual nod and wink suspicion about "looking after their own", I can tell you that it was no fun to be on the receiving end of this sort of gimlet-eyed investigation. Cheers..
