Absolutely. Dirty Pair Flash had some of the best music in the entire franchise. Even Dirty Pair as a whole had the most epic and iconic music I've ever heard in anime history. I just love Dirty Pair so much man. I'm so honored to have it be a part of my amazing childhood. 💕

The characters felt dumbed down and took until the 3rd OVA to get the format right, in fact the final episode of ova 3 is my favourite episode in any anime period. I'm waiting for Anime Abandon to finally review this.

Imo Flash is actually superior to the original series. It's not an AU though it's for sure a prequel that's why we see how they became partners and they were 2 years younger. Don't get me wrong I love the original Dirty Pair too but it didn't have the feels Flash did. Flash really put things in perspective and makes both series better imo because you can actually see where they are coming from now instead of just being thrown into the characters. Project Eden was terrible imo but the other two movies were good specifically the last one where characters actually die and stay dead and it's moving. Project Eden would have been a good movie if Carson D Carson had died because it would have been really heroic and manly and cool and if Wiseman wasn't to fucking annoying. I think Affair on Nolandia was good but Missiny should not have died. Felt cheap and as if it was all pointless but at least Yuri killed that god damn bastard Oran. I wonder where Namo was in the ova's that's always bugged me but oh well it aint too important I guess. Anyway for me Flash is a prequel to the original as there is no basis for it to be an alternate continuity ect but there is basis for it being a prequel. Garner was much more interesting and likable than Gooley and he felt like a man who truly did have their backs and thought of them as something that had great potential. I know Gooley did it too but Garner really felt like a guy you could trust and was a great man. Touma was a really likable character too and I loved how they had actual mini arcs instead of monster of the week episodes. It's nice to see a younger Kei and Yuri. Kei being even more rowdy and Yuri being stuck up almost to the point of being unlikable. Really puts their growth into perspective and really adds to the original series making it much more weighty and making us actually care about the characters instead of them being just two hot girls.

Your opinion on Project Eden is terrible in all honesty. It's pretty dumb to say the whole film is bad because a character didn't die while ignoring all the other great aspect of the film.

@@KoolCartoons Project Eden downright sucks , it's got one good thing going for it ( very hot fanservice. ) It's not simply just the fact that Carson didn't die ( although that was the last straw imo ) it's also how obnoxious the whole movie itself was. Wiseman for example was extremely irritating and every single scene he was in gave me a headache. It didn't help that they focused so much on him and his stupidity. it was too goofy and irritating to be good even compared to some of the stupider episodes. ( Well I guess it's still better than the Halloween ova episode lol. ) I realize DP isn't exactly masterpiece level but honestly Project Eden was just bad all around. You only like it because you are clearly a huge DP fan and like all the material. It is a bad movie and it is bad content for DP but most people just watch this for the fanservice and humor anyway so they don't see how extremely flawed it was. Project Eden was just fluff and had no real heart to it. In the end what happens? Oh look she still took him to jail ... all that romantic sub plot for nothing again lol. A horribly stupid and annoying Villain ( if one could even classify that imbecile as one ) and just pure unadulterated fluff to get money because the anime was popular at the time. The other two movies all had a lot of heart to them and make Project Eden look like a reject. First one the ova with Missiny ect ect was about them trying to free her and help her and stop the very evil and believable villain , third one had that great scene of the old guy who helped them actually dying and it was intense and the movie had a great soundtrack and vibe. Then we look at some of the real quality episodes like with Tia , the one where Yuri's childhood friend has passed away , the genuinely funny serial killer one , and basically all the episodes of Flash and then PE seems even more like a reject and fuck up. In the end I guess it just falls to the zany ( or downright stupid ) category as say the Halloween episode. I guess both the serious , genuinely funny and downright stupid are all part of what makes Dirty Pair Dirty Pair.

In case you didn't know the success of that film is what allowed the series to continue after the series was cancelled. If the film was SO bad the series wouldn't have continue after it rerelease the last two episodes of the original as OVA, had another OVA as a series and had Flash. So claiming it's bad is an outright lie. And Nolandia was just terribly directed and outright had poor and ulgy animation compare Project Eden, And claiming all Project Eden had was fanservice is an false. The movie had gorgeous animation, an awesome soundtrack, incredibly cool fight scenes and so much more. You only claim it has more heart because you only admire their concept but to claim Nolandia had more thought in it compared to Project Eden sounds like a incredibly bad take.

@@KoolCartoons Yet Eden is considered the cheesiest and stupidest of the three films by many people. I'm not alone in this. If that's the best DP has than that's just sad really. The music was not that great ( not even close to this track here for example ) I mean don't tell me you liked that Wise Man song lol. The fights were silly and badly done but honestly you're someone who clearly cares about animation of plot and substance so I'm wasting my breath. Only the weakest of minds put animation before plot ect. Not to mention I question the intelligence of anyone using the term bad take. It had more heart and there really is no debate on this in the sense that the more serious story is always going to have more heart in the the idea anyway. I don't really like overly and frankly silly or goofy or childish anime that really on " funny " explosions and poorly timed gags that much so you're wasting your time too I think. Oh look Kei and Yuri accidentally blew up a a fucking planet and killed billions oh how funny ha ha ha. Says a lot that that is meant to be interpreted as comical really. Kind of why DP is more of a " meh it was really good " anime to me vs what I would consider a masterpiece like some other anime. Flash at least had some genuine substance to it and again so do the other two movies. You may be extremely shallow and down right stupid and care more about animation but stupid is as stupid does to you're entitled to your own opinions but it doesn't make them true. most people can barely finish DP because of how silly it is and the slow pacing so that's something worth mentioning. Imo anyone who cares more about the " animation " over writing is too dumb for words.

Snow White Chaser might be the best episode of the entire franchise. I can't share your opinion of Project Eden. That film is superlative piece of art. Edit: Carson walking out of the fire was a moving moment for me. Finally one of Kei's crushes survives after she loses so many others.
