You can drill out the hole very slightly for the water inlet in the snowfoam gun to allow in a better flow of water it wont cut out on you then

I have one and you have to knock down the power on the washer to use the foam gun. Saves on the detergent too. Works better at the lowest pressure.

Phil / Liv that comparisons between washers brought back a hilarious situation regards a friend who had a haulage contract with a commercial fish plant who because of the issues caused by fish environment needed powerful washers. He being the genius (he thought) decided to head there with his Mercedes his pride & joy. It didnt end well. He blasted the paint off the roof & bonnet before he had a minute of use. He got some ''stick'' after that. Personally I would happily spend 24/7 with the gun in my had, great seeing immediate results. Thatsa great asset to the farm now. Keep 'er Lit.

Just get yourself non caustic tfr in bulk bottles and use a sprayer. You can even get pumps that will dilute your washing chemicals to set ratios, while dispensing in to your sprayer. IMO you should have got a diesel heated washer, hot water cleans so much better and a lot faster but you don't really need sparkling clean on a farm.
@declanconway29039 сағат бұрын

A bit of a box around the power washer with a light bulb wired through a thermostat set to turn the bulb on at +3 degrees C and below would be cheap insurance for when it freezes :)

@chucklesx9 сағат бұрын
@ … he already has the power there at the power washer. 10 minute job for anyone that knows what they are doing. As for the box he would build it himself in half an hour. Either way far cheaper than replacing the pump on the washer, doesn’t take much to crack a housing on the pump or a valve.
@keithburke85776 сағат бұрын
100% it works. I do same with inboard boat engines (water cooled with heat exchanger) red lamp hung with stat in line on power feed inside engine cover. Have one I hang inside power washer box also. Always have trigger pulled as you plug out also to relieve all pressure and drain as much water as possible. I generally have trigger pulled as I turn on also to take pressure off motor on start up.

Snow foam is shite on its own. TFR prewash (truck stuff), then snow foam if you must. Then jetwash. Kranzle even do a stainless steel shelf kit for 40 odd quid, spend 700 and then shove it on some rotten 12mm ply with two screws 🤔

The ones we use on our fleet of 160 lorries is a make called Clean well They are industrial type no frills but they never go wrong similar to what you have but slightly bigger. same as what the hand car washes use 240v standard plug and a normal hose connector . If they go wrong you just buy either a new pump or a new motor that easy to fix

Need to change the orifice in the snow cannon. just remove the connector for the gun and you can see the slotted orifice, remove with slot or straight screwdriver. You would need 2.0mm orifice for that pressure washer
@jcoul1sc10 сағат бұрын
I put a 0.9mm orifice in my toy karcher home pressure washer, amazing difference. Also some snow foams are not foamy, the Bilt hamber "Auto Foam" is not foamy at all, but works by wetting and slow run off the vehicle, again great stuff, for really dirty stuff
@jcoul1sc10 сағат бұрын
Strongly suggest a TFR first, 5 or 10 mins soak, dont allow to dry and snow foam on top, another 5-10 mins. Then pressure wash from bottom up
@jcoul1sc10 сағат бұрын
TFR caustic for really scummy stuff and you dont care about and TFR non caustic for things you really car about)
@jcoul1sc10 сағат бұрын
Im wrong - A 2.0mm orifice is typically suited for high-flow, low-pressure electric pressure washers with flow rates above 15 LPM (4 GPM). With your Kranzle's 11 LPM flow, a 2.0mm orifice would reduce pressure too much, resulting in weaker foam production. - Use 1.25mm

@drewjones6610 сағат бұрын
No ties to the company, but I can highly recommend you try CRC aerosol glass cleaner! After many decades of using it on tractors, combined, trucks, cars..It is the best for dissolving muck, cellulose and general grime. Nothing else comes close for ease of use and quality of job done. Simply spray the glass with foam, wipe with a paper towel/newspaper and then dry with another paper towel ☺️ Tip: Hide it. The product works so well, the cans grow legs and disappear.
