Jan, Love your new intro. It's no surprise we Americans have a crazy strong national pride & love our flag. Get goosebumps seeing The Flag of Canada stretched out by the cold winds of Saskatchewan over the Kielstra Family Farm. I remember your very first video and we were all drawn to this farm by a very young man with an idea, a dream to create informative art, and the determination to make it happen. I've missed only a few along the way. Congratulations on your success thus far & encourage you on the exciting times ahead. Thank you, Tyler & Family

Jan, Have you ever considered something like a rototiller to use on your feedlots in winter? You could use it break up the frozen manure before bucketing it out with the loader. Might even need to scoop it out less often.

Always love your videos. We got a taste of all your snow, last week in the panhandle of Florida. We got 10 inches of snow in about 12 hours. We were below-freezing for over 51 hours. So, I have a much better appreciation of the work you do in the winter now.

Hi, just a dumb suggestion for the frozen manure; do you have a set of pallet forks for the loader, so you could get the forks under a smaller area, to loosen an area, and follow up with the bucket... if it's loose in the area the forks were in, it might make it easier as a whole, for getting things loosened up. Just my dumb idea, not sure if you have that type of add on equipment for the loader, or even if it would work, but I've loosened enough ice up on walkways by hand, that using a smaller tool, narrower, to get under and break it loose, works better than just chopping at things with a shovel. I enjoy your videos, look forward to each new one. Thanks for all your hard work!

Got a thought about getting the ice off of the concrete in the corral’s. I guess I was curious if you guys had a heavy set of pallet forks if you were to go through it with the pallet forks first then go through with the bucket. Just a thought figure it might save time. Maybe give it a try if you have the forks

Nice to see the vids back. Question for you. Would it be a better option to use a toothed bucket in the corals, when cleaning frozen manure? I just think the teeth might cut through, without so much stress on the loader maybe?

I wonder if it would be worth embedding some electric heater elements in the concrete , at least in a 10 foot strip leading up to the feed area , something to think about when you are next doing major work on the corrals.

Hey Jan another great vid bro,I see you need a new cutting bar on the case loader as its done.Better doing it rather than rippin up the loader bucket. Just a thought Jan prob a little excavator with a flat bucket for ripping up that frozen dung with rubber pads so it dont chew up your concrete. Anyways was a pleasure to watch.

We made an extra sharp blade that would just slip on and off. We could use that sharp blade to rip up the ice. Then we'd have to slip it back off to do the shoveling work. It was extra work, no doubt. But it was effective

Jan, I know it’s easy to spend other people’s money. But that said look into “Galaxy Hippo” payloader tires they turn a payloader into a feedlot and mud monster! We have had them for the farm loader for at least 10 years now and wouldn’t go back! Edit: another excellent tire is a “feed yard grabber” payloader tire my dad wants to try them on the next set.
