I remember watching the video for this song on MTV in the wee small hours of summer 2002. Life was so much simpler and better back then. The mid 80's to the mid 00's, is by far my favourite time span in terms of pretty much everything, music, sport and life in general. The world was a better place before the internet and things like instagram and tiktok took over! My life went downhill after the mid 00's, and i totally lost interest in modern pop music some time in the early 2010's, but as soon as i hear this song and see this video, i'm back to those carefree days of summer 2002 again.

This is a great song that (at least for me) has spanned multiple decades. Thanks DV. This song has had 3 different meanings to me through my life. Wayyyy back in 2002 when the song came out, I was just leaving the Army with some bad feelings toward the my time, and I felt the need to lay all those ghosts to rest with a huge bon fire burning party to release all those bad memories. Then in 2010 when my wife left, I again came back to this song feeling the need to forget all the bad stuff that she and I had been through (I was so broken, and depressed at the time). Now in 2022, I feel I can finally fully forgive her and move on. My ghosts have been laid to rest, and I wont look back. Dont look back. 😉
