That's what I thought! A "seat with poles". Did he mean "poles" as in immigrants? Poles as in magnetic poles? Certainly, it shouldn't have metal poles attached to it. (Unless it's a weird seat assembly from a chopper type bike and the whole thing came apart.)

I had an old school bore scope that was an eye piece with a crystal clear sight glass in it that had tube to go down the bore and on the end had a mirror and a tiny incandescent light bulb and it worked amazing for looking at heads although everything was upside down lol and you could see where the top of the piston where it met the cylinder wall, but you couldn’t see the top of the piston I’ll see if i can find a link to one

Given some KTMS used rotax engines and Aprilla do/did the same at various points, there being a parts crossover wouldn't suprise me. I mean lambo used metro mirrors and there's switches from a rover in a lot of Ferrari's

There's some reliability concerns on some bikes, the older rota engines are solid though. They are great but dealer support can be a killer.

I've had the RSV 1000 with the rotax in my opinion great bike if you like twins I have a tuono V4 now this has more mid upwards power rides decent but they come with issues from factory matters how good you are with a spanner unless you like going to dealers. If you sort the problems first they are fairly reliable. Aprilia forum is the main site for any info on them

​@@leoa4c Not of recent. I owned a string of Milles, and they were pretty good. Other road users didn't seem to like them... I've still got a thing for an RSV4 1100, but it's a lot of money and being a lanky git, I'd need to drop even more money on adjustable rearsets and an exhaust for more room to move the pegs as far back as they'll go. Every superbike is so fucking small these days.

Got a machine to measure injector flow rates but doesn't have a fly wheel puller, space exclamation mark !

The flywheel puller is only for this bike as it spins onto the flywheel and then the threaded part in the middle pushes it off there's other locking tools he needs too

Maybe, just maybe, the motorcycle seat in the middle of the road was a pillion seat which could go awol unnoticed whilst riding. The fact that the "blind" bend he was riding around at speed and unable to alter his line to miss what was a relatively small object in the road says to me he either can't ride or was riding way too fast. Either way a tosser!

Most people still use cheques, most online bill payment systems. Is still based on cheque processing. As for cash, it's very useful to carry, oayi g for something instantly not waiting for a processor, discounts, sidestepping the taxman, there's a whole host of reasons to do it.
